Simple Spooky Touches for Halloween Mantel

My fireplace is another area for me to display seasonal decor. I start with a classic hydrangea and wheat garland. I added some extra wheat and a raffia bow. I love to drape the garland off the side of the mantel. I’ve added some mercury pumpkins and a mercury votive for a visual effect. The large pumpkin is sitting on top of a glass and mercury pillar holder to add some height. It is filled with string lights to add to the mood. It makes a nice elegant statement about fall.

I add a few simple touches to transform my fireplace mantel into a spooky Halloween landscape.

This spooky spider is ready to pounce on an unwitting victim.

More cute than scary, these adorable little ghosts are ready to go trick-or-treating.

Who let the spiders out to run wild?
