An Autumn Ride through the New Jersey Countryside

Yahoo!  It’s finally sweater weather here in New Jersey.  I’ve been waiting for this beautiful time of the year.  My husband and I were off on a trip to the Cherry Hill Mall.  I wanted to take my readers along for the ride to share with you the beauty of the New Jersey countryside in the autumn.

You’ll quickly see why New Jersey is called the Garden State.  Fall is a particularly beautiful time for a drive or even a trip to the store.  There are cornfields as far as the eye can see.  Jersey farms have some of the best corn to offer which is fortunate since my oldest grandson loves corn.  The stalks also make a wonderful addition to any fall decor.

New Jersey has a lot to offer especially at this time of the year. Many local farms offer apple picking starting in September. There are numerous pumpkin patches for children to explore to find that perfect jack-o-lantern for Halloween.

What would a drive in the countryside be without spotting a red barn? This is just one of the many you’ll find in New Jersey.

The cloudy day didn’t ruin the beautiful scenery. It just added to the fall splendor.
