❤️ My 2019 Valentine’s Day Decor ❤️

My Valentine’s Day  💟️ decor this year is a lot of red and black in the sun room. We still haven’t painted behind the fireplace so excuse the mess. There is still a lot of work to be done in this room, but I need the warmer weather so things will dry and the carpenter doesn’t freeze out here. As for myself, I’ve gotten my numbers down below 130. I am a type two diabetic …

Cards Filled with Memories

Well Valentine’s Day is finally here. I’m wishing everyone a wonderful day filled with love and happiness. And don’t forget to save the cards. Put them away with your Valentine’s decor . A framed card here or there will make a statement. Don’t forget to put the year on the back of card so you remember. That’s always fun to look back on the memories.

Country/Farmhouse Valentine’s Day Table

Evolving, growing, changing. We all do it. It can’t be helped. We are not the people we were. I have always loved to decorate since I was a girl at home with my parents. I’ve decorated from my room in their home to my own home. This photo is from 15 years ago. It’s not the best quality, but it is the idea that I’m showing you. This is a Valentine’s Day table in my …

Ceramic Vase Dressed Up

Now to get the whole picture, this vase is 25″ tall and 14″ wide. So it is quite large. This is vintage Pottery Barn, and I do love using it for numerous occasions. It’s one of those things that they say you can dress up or dress down. Usually I have branches in it. Come back for Easter and see.  But today I only have a rose draped on it,.  Because this makes a statement on …

Red Hearts

Brown and red make a beautiful combination. Again, I reused an old candy box which was my inspiration behind this brown and red place setting. The heart dish and mug are from William Sonoma. The brown plate and charger are vintage Pottery Barn. The napkin is from Pier 1. Some puffer hearts circle the heart plate. Everything sits on a red runner that has a red velour stripe outlining it.

Pretty Pink Roses at the Center

Nothing says I love you quite like roses. These pink roses are showing off because they know they are pretty. The delicate baby’s breath just enhances their beauty. I placed them in a a small pitcher and then tied a bow on the handle with pink and white gingham ribbon. Rose petals lay on the table where they have fallen. A heart-shaped picture frame and ornament add some additional interest. The items sit on a …

Valentine’s Day Place Setting

For my Valentine’s Day place setting, I modified the place setting that I shared last month. I just swapped out one dish, the Charlotte plate in gray for one in the blush color. I really wish Pottery Barn would add some more pieces to this set. I then topped that plate with a heart dish with “love” etched in the center. The cute matching mug  has an accordian-folded wheaten striped napkin in soft pink popping …

Hanging Hearts

I placed some cream colored berry branches in a mercury vase. Heart ornaments hang from the branches with some ribbon. The polar bears wait for the night to fall when they will be lit up by the heart votives that twinkle in the dark. While watching tv, I can behold the candlelight peeping through the heart-shaped cutouts.

Welcoming Glow

I can’t believe that in just 2 days, January will be over. Then in 2 weeks, Valentine’s Day will be here. Then I get to decorate for spring. Well it’s not time for that yet so I may as well enjoy this holiday. I just love these vintage Pottery Barn vases. They are so big, and I can fit a lot in them to make a nice statement. As you can see there are roses …
