My oldest son was in charge of finding new drinks for our family to try out this Christmas. The first drink he chose was this pear sangria from How Sweet Eats.
It was definitely a crowd-pleaser. It went down real smooth and tasted very much like pear nectar. We froze the cranberries before adding them so they’d help keep the drinks chilled. And we sliced some additional pears and cranberries to garnish each glass.
- 4 pears, cored and sliced into wedges
- 1.5 liter bottle Pinot Grigio
- 12 ounces cranberries, frozen
- 4 cups pear nectar
- 2 cups club soda
- 1/2 cup ginger brandy
