Here are some pictures of inside the sunroom. Now remember it isn’t finished, but it is too close to Christmas to start any new projects. So I’m not patiently waiting to share until after the holidays.
This is my favorite corner. As you can see, it’s waiting for me to come and snuggle up with a cup of coffee and a good book. I stayed with gray and white out here. I’ve always gone after white usually with silver. This year I added in some gray. I separated my sectional for a different look. I placed a table in between. I’m not really liking the lamp so I may look for a mercury one.
I filled this vintage olive bucket with birch logs, some pine cones, and a few sprigs of greenery. I placed some branches here and there. They are from an old tree that I cut up last year. I knew I would find a place for them. The branches on top of the mantel are from an old garland that I cut up. As you can see, the wall behind the fireplace still isn’t painted. As I mentioned in my last post, I want to put up faux stone.
This is just a small tree I put up for this year. I will start looking for a flocked tree on sale for next year. I love my owl topper and all the bottle brush animals. They are all vintage Pottery Barn.
I added some tinsel. Yes, I said tinsel. Does anyone out there still use it? I just love the way it shines when the sun comes in the back door. And they sway when the heat pump blower comes on.
Another chair in the room to snuggle in with a fur blanket.
Because this will be my last post of 2018, I thought I would throw in some pictures of my living room tree and fireplace.
Merry Christmas 🎄 and Happy New Year 🍾 🥂! See you next year. 👋
